THE OPPORTUNITY

South Carolina is one of the fastest-growing economies in our country due to its bustling port-related industries. The Maritime Association of SC wanted to produce a video for their annual gala that would recognize the dedication of the maritime and logistics workforce while fostering unity. Their aim was to vividly illustrate the interconnectedness of these diverse industries.

OUR SOLUTION

Motion Filmworks produced a dynamic 1-minute, story-driven film that instantly captures attention and cultivates camaraderie within the maritime and logistics community. Our team developed a script that would showcase multiple supply chains and follow the life cycle of three products traveling through South Carolina. Multiple organizations and industry associates were hand-selected to be featured in this story and filmed at unique environmental locations. A powerful voice-over script was composed to tie it all together for an impactful viewing experience. This film premiered in front of 600 people at the annual MASC Gala.

THE CHALLENGE

Logistics companies are struggling to fill career opportunities within the Maritime Industry in South Carolina due to the rapidly growing economy and Port expansion. Many current employees are also aging out of the workforce, opening up job positions that need to be filled.

OUR SOLUTION

We crafted a 2:25 min story-driven recruitment video. We spotlighted the individual employees and careers within the MASC to attract new talent and increase brand awareness.

Collaborating closely with the Maritime Association board, Motion Filmworks selected diverse individuals with unique stories and a genuine passion for their careers. This video portrays the significance of these jobs to employees, their families, and the community.

 

Premiering at the annual Maritime Gala with over 600 attendees, the video garnered 17,000 views within the first sixty days which enhanced brand online.
